Our work is about people. It is about understanding – and connecting with – the human being beyond the number, label or title. That same philosophy drives our client relationships and our organizational culture. Our team is comprised of unique, creative, youthful, inspired, dynamic individuals united by common values and a desire to make the world a better place. Our family of over 40 marketing professionals is led with passion and experience by our founders, who remain closely involved in every aspect of the agency.
Rudy has been hailed as "a cultural visionary" by the National Hispanic Institute. As the co-founder and leader of Interlex, he brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and creative prowess to our work. His marketing and analytical skills were honed at Harvard University, where he earned both his BA in Government ('90) and his Masters in Public Policy ('93). His lifelong creative pursuits have included music composition and performance, writing, and the creative direction of Interlex over the past fifteen years. While his creative work has won national acclaim, Rudy achieved a major milestone in 2003 with the publication of his first book, "Adelante!" by Random House. He was published again in 2008's "Going Hungry" by Anchor Books. Also in 2008, he founded RedBrownandBlue.com, an online multicultural news and commentary site. Writing on policy and culture, Rudy is read nationally as a columnist and is a frequent contributor to CNN.com and numerous major dailies. As a thought leader in multicultural communications and policy impact analysis, Rudy is also a frequent speaker at conferences and provider of commentary on television and radio. At Interlex, he enjoys working hands-on with our clients and staff to create innovative and culturally meaningful communications that make an impact on people's lives, helping to transform public policy and socially conscientious corporate objectives into enduring social action. He is also committed to pioneering new ways of thinking about multicultural markets and what drives their behavior. This commitment is evidenced in the numerous proprietary models, tools and techniques he has innovated for use by Interlex clients. Over the years, Rudy and Interlex have been consistently ranked among the Hispanic Entrepreneur 100 as well as Ad Age Magazine's "Top Agency Brands Across All Disciplines." In 2010, Rudy was named one of the "Top Guys in Social Media" by the Hispanic Public Relations Association.
